Valentina Casanova

FIU Student

Valentina Casanova is an undergraduate student pursuing dual degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology. She is currently serving in the Florida International University Student Government Association as the Executive Administrator. As Executive Administrator she is a member of the Executive Advisory Committee which works to allocate the Activity and Service Fee Budget. Prior to being appointed to the role of Executive Administrator, she has served as a CASE Senator and as the chairwoman of the Sustainability and Innovation Committee, advocating for students and ensuring that their voices are heard. For the 2022-2023 academic year Valentina has been elected to serve as the Student Government Association Vice President.

Valentina is a member of Alpha Xi Delta and has served in leadership positions in her chapter in the capacity of Philanthropy Vice President and Fraternity Philanthropy Chair. She is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, leadership organization and was involved in Relay For Life as the Campus Liaison. 

Valentina was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is a very proud FIU panther. She is so grateful for all of the opportunities that she has had to give back to Florida International University.
