Regulations

The Board of Trustees is responsible for upholding and protecting Florida International University's best interests through decisions made on its behalf.

Powers and duties of the board include ensuring that the university mission is kept and aligned with public purposes, monitoring the university's fiscal integrity, protecting the educational quality of the university and keeping the board practices current.

Regulations are statements of general applicability to guide the conduct or actions of members of the university community and are in line with resolutions and the strategic plan of the Florida Board of Governors.
