Jesus Lebeña


Jesus Lebeña is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations at MasTec Communications Group, a Fortune 500 company that provides comprehensive services and turnkey solutions required to design, build, optimize and maintain telecommunications networks. In this role, Mr. Lebeña is responsible for the Supply Chain Operations, Facilities, Fleet Operations, Safety, Training, Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management. 

Prior to joining MasTec, Mr. Lebeña served as the Vice President of Supply Chain and Procurement Operations at Cable & Wireless Communications where his focus was on implementing a common supply chain and procurement strategy across the company to facilitate integration for Mergers and Acquisitions.  

Before joining Cable & Wireless, Mr. Lebeña served as the Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations at Brightstar Corporation. He led all aspects of planning, procurement, supply chain management, 3PL service delivery, warehouse operations, production, transportation/logistics, business process reengineering, after-sales/reverse logistics operations, and quality management. He introduced key supply chain processes and systems to improve operational efficiencies and implemented a Quality, Environmental, and Safety Policy for the corporation, achieving ISO9001 Quality Management certifications across multiple operating facilities.

Before joining Brightstar Corporation, Mr. Lebeña served for over 13 years in several supply chain, operations, and sales roles at Motorola Inc.

Mr. Lebeña earned an Associate in Science degree from Miami Dade College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University. He also earned a Master’s in Industrial Engineering with a Concentration in Engineering Management from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He has also completed executive programs at The Ohio State University and Kellogg’s School of Management at Northwestern University.  

Mr. Lebeña is a Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, a non-profit civic organization of volunteers whose mission is to improve the lives of underprivileged children across South Florida. The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana is the organizer of Carnaval Miami, the largest Hispanic festival in the United States. The funds raised from Carnaval Miami are used towards the many charitable projects of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana and the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation. Mr. Lebeña also serves on the Board of FACE (Facts About Cuban Exiles), whose mission is to defend the reputation of the Cuban Exile and Cuban-American community and to promote an accurate and positive image of their contribution to American society.

He is married to Viviana Lebeña, also an FIU alumnus, and together have three children, Victoria, Nicholas, and Christian.
